Georgina

Having completed her Hispanic studies degree at King’s College London, Georgina embarked on her professional journey by training as a Professional Indemnity Broker. A few years later, she seized an opportunity to shift her focus to Medical Malpractice, leading to the establishment of a dedicated healthcare team within a Lloyd’s broker.

As the client base expanded rapidly, Georgina honed her expertise in placing policies into Lloyd’s for intricate aspects of the healthcare sector, specialising in non-conventional placements. Sandi Gill joined shortly thereafter to collaborate with Georgina in furthering the development of the book. Driven by an entrepreneurial spirit, the duo decided to venture out on their own, and when onto co-found Mediguard, the only female led Medical Malpractice broker.

Sandi

In addition to holding an LLB Law degree, Sandi possesses extensive insurance knowledge. Similarly to Georgina, she worked in Professional Indemnity before transitioning to focus on medical malpractice insurance. Throughout her career, Sandi has collaborated with both large Lloyd’s brokers and smaller insurance firms, contributing to broking roles and assisting in the development of their medical malpractice portfolios.

Sandi has actively participated in the establishment of various healthcare schemes catering to Individual Consultants, General Practitioners, Dentists, Nurses, and Complimentary and Holistic Practitioners. Furthermore, she has played a key role in facilitating the placement of numerous risks including Corporate Medical Malpractice coverage for various multi-Disciplinary clinics, and Primary Care risks, including Out Of Hours Services.
